October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but it’s much more about wearing a pink ribbon. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide. Statistics show that approximately one in every eight women (13 percent) in the U.S. will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in her lifetime. That’s why it’s important to us to support women in our community who are diagnosed with breast cancer – and not just in October.

We encourage you to support local breast cancer nonprofit organizations, such as the Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Foundation, and to participate in their fundraising events. Breast cancer nonprofit organizations are reporting a drastic reduction in cancer research funding due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we can help.

Big functional kitchen, living room, dining room, all open for spaciousness. Lots of lighting. New appliances and basic dishes, pots, scissors, and things you need for comfortable stay. We ate the snacks/crackers out of Welcome Basket! Had we needed it, there was shampoo and conditioner and shavers…We visited Busch Gardens (nearly next door)! And Moffitt Cancer Center for consultation was very close nearby. We will try to stay there every time in Tampa.”
